We've all been there: you find the motivation to sign up for a gym membership. The rate seems reasonable, but the good deal is quickly overpowered by some exorbitant recurring "activation fees" that appear only when it's time to pay. If you're really unlucky, you might also have to pay an additional "cleaning fee". Very quickly, the experience becomes annoying and even stressful; all you really want is access to somewhere great to work out.
Next, let's talk about unnecessary cancellation fees. These are usually buried in the fine print in the 'Terms of Service Agreement' that the majority of us scroll through without reading. Here at Chop Shop Physiques, we're pretty big fans of transparency and fairness - you only pay for your membership. No more fine print BS! Activation and cancellation fees are relics of the past.
Some gyms like to charge a premium if you want access to more than one location. With us, your membership incudes 24/7 access to all THREE of our locations: Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, and now Edmonton. Each location offers a different vibe and a some unique equipment.

If you're new, welcome! The sign-up process is super simple and only takes a couple of minutes.
Once you do, you'll be sent to a page with our current membership options. You can go it solo, or, you can add more people to your membership. The more people you include in your membership, the cheaper the cost per person! The first member you enter is the 'primary' member - the account is anchored to their information. The primary member is usually the person whose name is attached to the method of payment.
We use a platform called 'Stripe' to handle all electronic and recurring payments, so you can rest assured knowing your personal information is encrypted and safe. You will automatically be charged monthly unless you request otherwise.
If you don't submit payment information, your account information will still be saved - contact us when you're ready and our staff will send you a secure link to use to input your payment information.
Once you've paid for the membership, you'll receive an email inviting you to download an app called 'Kindoo'. We use Kindoo to simplify how you access the gym. We're pretty passionate about removing complicated, unnecessary steps - with this app, all you need is a tap on your phone screen to unlock the doors to our gyms and get a great workout in.
